Are you at a turning point in your art practice?

Whether you're an established artist or just starting out, if you feel like you're at a cross roads or have an artist's block, mentoring can be the answer. It can help increase your knowledge and confidence, and develop a broader perspective of where you see yourself in the art world.

re:think // re:frame is a series of three personalised thought provoking mentoring sessions which reframes your art practice and enables you to see how your artwork sits within today’s contemporary art landscape. Discover new techniques and explore how contextualising your work can unleash new ideas. Discover the work of modern and contemporary artists, and embrace the unknown whilst in a safe nurturing space.

As an established curator, lecturer and art practitioner my years of experience place me in the unique position to be an effectual and compassionate mentor that will help you re:frame and re:think your artistic practice. Mentoring lies at the centre of everything I do.

TESTIMONIALS

“For the past 19 years I have worked within the visual arts both as a lecturer and a curator and a gallery director. My wealth of experience has made me into a lateral thinker and I can perceive what may not be obvious to others. Mentoring is what I do naturally using intuition and empathy. By providing you with a safe space to think, talk and reframe the stumbling blocks you have encountered in your art practice. Above all I want my mentees to feel empowered, heard and validated.

I have based this mentoring programme on a three-pronged approach which brings together my academic, practical and professional expertises. These three different areas place me in a unique position to run a supportive, nurturing mentoring programme where you will be given the supportive framework you are looking for.” - Liz Goode, 2024
