JJ Cavanagh-Butler's paintings reflect the ephemeral impact that light has on the landscape. Her solo exhibition 'SPIRITUALITY OF LIGHT' showcases two bodies of her work: THE LANDSCAPES - An exploration of the ethereal; transcendent impact of light on the landscapes of Dorset, Sussex, Suffolk & The Balearics and THE ABSTRACTS - An abstract exploration of the Aurora Borealis / Northern Lights or as the Salteaus Indians of Eastern Canada interpreted them as the dancing of human spirits.
